Responsibilities

To be a key source of innovation in the company. To contribute to the company being truly market led by providing marketing guidance and tactical support to the general manager and company director board, including the production, analysis and communication of market data, and the maintenance of excellent relationships with internal and external functions/bodies. To generate innovative new product concepts both in existing and new markets.

Skill Profile - Technical

Degree level qualification in relevant scientific discipline. Either demonstrable track record in similar role or professional marketing qualification  (specialization or MBA. MCIM or equivalent preferred).

Skill Profile - Personal

Highly innovative and capable of true out of the box blue skies thinking, with a sound appreciation of the current and future requirements of customers and the key issues facing them. Establishes and exploits good, mutually beneficial relationships with customers, key academics and other relevant bodies. Able and willing to travel internationally . Understands the drivers in B2B marketing in a rapidly changing high tech/capital equipment industry, preferably medical IT related, and identifies ways to translate these into product strategy in order to gain competitive advantage.
